I am newly graduated from Mount Royal’s Bachelor of Child Studies Degree. Growing up I have always wanted to work with children. Family members always told me from when I was little that this is the field I should go into. What really made me decide childcare was the right choice for me was when my sister had her first child. I fell in love, watching her grow and explore and seeing the world through her eyes was magical to me. This is when I explored different programs and decided Mount Royal was the right school for me.
A little about me. My family is the most important part of my life. I grew up in a small town called Rochdale, in England. When I was younger my parents and sister and I moved to Canada. Living so far away from other family I feel made us closer to each other. I try hard to make sure I have quality time with all my family. My father and I try to do a few run’s each year and we train together throughout the year. I am in a choir with my sister and my mum. My nieces are my life and I spend as much time as I can with them camping, playing games or swimming as these are their most favorite things to do. Also, my fiancé and I love to travel together, and he helps me keep my life balanced.
I am looking forward to meeting everyone and being part of this great year of fun we have ahead.
