McKenzie Towne - Preschool

Hi everyone!

I am one of the 2-day program teachers at the McKenzie Towne location. I have a level 3 diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education. 

Originally from England, my family moved to Canada when I was 8. As a teenager I decided I wanted to follow a path in Early Childhood after graduation. Starting out working with special needs children in a group home then moving to a preschool setting. After a few years I found a Child First Preschool where I worked for a couple of years before starting my own family. After having my first child I decided to stay home and raise my family opening my own day home. Now that my children are a little older, I have spent the last year subbing at the preschool but I could not be more excited to be back working at A Child First in a more permanent position after 12 years. 

I am married with 2 boys, my boys keep me busy between music, art, flag football, ball hockey and soccer. 

When we aren’t running around to the next sporting event I like to travel, read, and spend time with my family.
