Hello!

I am so excited to be joining the A Child First Preschool team!

I received my Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Calgary. I am an Alberta Education licensed teacher and have my Child Development Supervisor status with the Government of Alberta. My early teaching experience was primarily as an elementary school teacher, having worked for both the Calgary Board of Education and Rocky View School Division. In the latter part of my career, I have been fortunate to find my true love and passion in Early Childhood Education, having spent the last 15 years as a preschool teacher, where I feel so lucky to get to play, learn and grow along with my students every day! I am dedicated to creating a safe and enriched learning environment where children can learn, develop and succeed. It is my goal to foster a lifelong love of learning in my students.

A little bit about me…I am originally from Montreal but grew up in Calgary, having lived here most of my life. I have been happily married for 32 years and have three beautiful daughters. When I am not at work, I enjoy being active, spending time outdoors, gardening and walking my dog, Luna. I also love listening to music, cooking, reading and snuggling with my cat, Joey.
