My name is Barb Gresham and I am happy to be starting my 16th year working with children. I worked as a youth counselor for 18 years before this and felt I needed a change so moved on to teaching preschool. I then moved on to working at Before/After School Care. I have my diploma in Child and Youth Care Work from MRU which enables me to work with both small children up to teens. In addition to my previous employment, I was very involved with my children’s activities by volunteering in their school as well as with their hockey, ringette and lacrosse teams.
I am originally from Calgary and my husband and I have lived in the community of Parkland for 22 years. We have a daughter who is 23, son who is 22 and another daughter who is 20. I love to travel especially to the ocean or mountains and love my time working out, hiking, walking our little Havanese and doing anything outdoors.
